Perspectives
One of the major causes of instability in the world is the extreme gap between the rich and the poor. Some of us have enormous wealth while others are without food, water, or shelter.
Some of us have learned that these are proposed to be basic needs. So, how can there be peace when the bottom glass does not have the worth of the glass at the top?
Many do not know that disparity affects individuals as well as nations. With barely the minimum needs for survival, the poor cannot be content and are robbed of their opportunity to make a contribution to the progress of the world.
Further, as we look from individuals to nations, economic stability requires more than developing poor countries to promote the material self-interest of richer nations. The glass at the bottom can be viewed more closely and seen for it's beauty than those at the top that require the lifting of the head to be seen.
There may come a day when servants will be no more and the masters and mistresses will be forced to wait upon themselves. Appreciate the one(s) who come and serve.
